It's Friday and I'm back with another food Fact ☺️ 

Today I'm gonna tell you about wonderfully sweet, creamy and tasty Dates which are highly nutritious and one of nature's perfect foods!



First of all, YES! It causes weight gain! But, wait!!! It also helps in weight loss. Now, how is that??!! Well, let's see why I think it's perfect for both weight gain and weight loss. πŸ˜‰ 

★ Dates are a great source of phosphorus, potassium, selenium, manganese, copper, magnesium and calcium making it a superfood for strengthening bones and fighting off disease like osteoporosis. 

★ Dates are rich in glucose, fructose and sucrose making it a perfect post/pre workout snack for immediate burst of energy. 

★ Dates contain antioxidants that boosts and improves the brain activity and promotes healthy nervous system. 

★ Dates have high levels of soluble fiber that helps in reducing bloating and constipation keeping the gut clean. 

★ As I already mentioned, dates contain high levels of minerals and especially iron that's beneficial for people suffering from anemia. 

★ Dates contain a organic sulfur that pretty rare to find in foods, that helps in curing allergies. 

★ A kg of dates contain 3,000 calories that helps in weight gain. 

★ Not sure how, but dates are good to get sober quickly and also prevent hangovers! πŸ˜‚ 

★ You can lose weight by consuming dates.. how? By replacing regular sugar with dates paste in our dessert recipes and munching 3-4 dates when we get sweet cravings! 


Eating 2-3 dates everyday will help you lose weight since it's calorie dense, it fills up quickly and you won't feel hungry for a longer period along with providing all the benefits mentioned above and much more (all that I couldn't mention cos of less space) without gaining weight!
